the square, located in the heart of west palm beach, became the canvas for a transformative celebrations during the holiday season of 2023. embracing the diversity and unity that defines the city, we introduced “all-IDAYS” - A CONCEPT THAT BRIDGES TRADITIONS AND SPARKS JOY FOR EVERYONE. WE DRAFTED CREATIVE CONCEPTS THAT EVENTUALLY LANDED US WITH HAND-DRAWN ILLUSTRATIONS AND BESPOKE FONT THAT BROUGHT THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT TO LIFE.
the spirit of tradition meets unforgettable celebrations
IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR US, WHILE PICKING COLORS AND A CREATIVE CONCEPT FOR THE HOLIDAYS, TO pick a lively palette that spoke to a different number of cultures and traditions. we wanted to steer away from the predictable nature of what the holiday season typically looks like, and pushed ourselves to exlore different, brighter colors.
using hand-drawn elements, such as the font & illustrations, helped create a feeling of intimacy. we wanted to play on advent calendars, hand-written letters to loved ones & to santa claus, so once we completed these illustrations, we were able to use them repeatedly throughout our needs to deliver the message to the community.
the square had a lengthy list of events for the holiday months, and wanted the city center to display the spirit of the “all-idays” - in order to share the events, and to create a sense of unity in the community, we had a list of collateral deliverables we needed to complete by the time the kick-off event began. among the collateral needs was a welcome banner, flyers and an advent calendar of events, pole banners, window decals, and social media graphics.
